Project: Video meets business networking - online
Client: Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA)
The Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) identified that businesses can improve their productivity by using IT more effectively. Their challenge is to help business people understand that for themselves.
Junction K noticed that business managers responded really positively to videos shown at past events. We suggested cultivating this interest through an online TV-style video platform; to provide business people with a detailed but snappy way to stimulate interest in new opportunities.
Of course video can’t answer every question, so we’re developing media content in a full ‘360°’ programme structure. This means videos are planned alongside radio-style podcasts, copy and interactive formats, to provide users with a ‘full-fat’ media experience.
Having inspired interest, we want people to act on their new-found knowledge immediately. The media content sits above a social network so users can ask questions, meet suppliers, contribute content and convert their interest into action.
Changes in government policy are introducing a shift in the project's emphasis - and a short delay on the launch – but we should be launching very soon.
